Abstract

Working from Home–WFH is the idea of performing work at home rather than in one’s official place of work. It enables employees to work at a time at their own choosing. This practice had been around for centuries, but has recently become wide spread because of the prevalence of the Covid – 19 pandemic. An old way of working has thus become the new norm in today’s society. This article deals with the history of working at home, its precise definition and the advantages and disadvantages that it entails. It underlines the differences between working at home and in the workplace, and examines the influence of the two contexts.
